Ive finished reading a book about Jason Moss and i find it absolutely unbeleivable. Ok the guy is about 18, and decides to write to various serial killers to try and find out any information which couldnt be gained from them previously. To do this, he poses as different people, who will appeal to each serial killer.
He pretends to be the type of guy who John Wayne Gacy would see as a potential victim, the same with Jeffrey Dahmer. He pretends to be a fan of Richard Ramirez and Charles Manson, leading a Satanic cult, and wanting to carry on their 'work'.
He has to do a lot of research to play these characters, so it starts taking over his life a bit.
What I cant beleive is that he says in one part something like 'Gacy seems to be telling me how to break down potential victims, I am only playing a riole, but what if I wasnt? What if Gacy was giving instructions to a real life person?' They didnt even monitor the mail.
The serial killer who he wrote to the most was Gacy. Hewas sexually graphic, and suggested Jason have an incestuous relationship with his brother. Jason pretends he is doing so. All the time nobody was checking the mail.
They made phone calls too, and eventually met.
As it turns out, Gacy had been on Death Row for 15 years and had convinced the prison officers he could be trusted, he was given special privelages, one time he didnt like the meal he was brought so he asked somneone to change it for him. And they did.
The officers on death row didnt even know what was going on. Gacy told them his visitor was 'his piece of ass' and seeing as he was scheduled for execution some weeks later, they decided to let him have one last fling. They arranged it so they were totally alone in the visiting area, with the cameras turned away.
Jason was set to stay in the town for three days, and spend three days with Gacy.
During the first visit, Gacy started showing his real colours. He got his penis out and started masturbating, and telling Jason that even if he screamed it would take the guards several minutes to get to him, and by that time he ouwld have bled to death, after having a pen stuck in his neck.
The crazy arsehole went back the second day. Sometimes gacy would be normal, he would snap in and out of it. But alas, he started masturbating again, and telling Jason that he was going to do him whther he wanted it or not, and ordered him to take his pants off. At this point they were interrupted, which probably saved Json's life. But the dick head went back after a break and let himself be put in the same conditions again. How fucking stupid is that? The only thing which stopped Gacy killing him was that he thought Jason would be returning the next day, which he didnt, surprisingly.
